A great FCA win for Drum with the Reissumies campaign

Drum’s campaign “Long Live the Diversity of the Reissumies!” won the Best PR stunt (B2C) category in the Finnish Comms Awards competition organised by Marketing Finland.

In the Fazer Bakery’s Eläköön Reissumiehen erilaisuus! campaign, Drum was responsible for the campaign’s communication in cooperation with Fazer’s communication team. The aim was to shake up the traditional male image. Reissumies generated a huge amount of reactions and debate in the media and on social media – for and against.

The campaign, conceptualised by advertising agency Ivalo, was the first to change the Reissumies character with a new face and make room for a new kind of hero. The well-known campaign ambassadors lived out the values they share with Fazer: tolerance, equality and acceptance of others.

Drum and HMD’s work shortlisted

In addition to the award-winning Reissumies campaign, the Nokia XR20 – Ready to rumble campaign by Drum and Nokia phone manufacturer HMD was shortlisted in the Service Communication and Product Communication (B2C) category.

The winners of the Finnish Comms Awards were awarded at a gala event on 26 October 2022. More than 100 entries were submitted this year. At the 2021 FCA Gala, Drum was elected Agency of the Year.
