Secret Breakfast is a morning coffee event organised by Nespresso for influencers and journalists. The 2022 Secret Breakfast event saw the launch of the colourful Vertuo POP coffee machine. This time, we set up the breakfast at the Kunsthalle Helsinki. The ambience of the Kunsthalle provided a great setting for the launch of the colourful coffee machine.
For several years, Drum was Nespresso’s PR and communications partner in Finland. The annual Secret Breakfast was already an established concept and a much anticipated event. Nespresso’s coffee hour was held in a surprising location, which was only revealed to the participants the night before.
The colourful Vertuo POP coffee machine was launched at the 2022 event. The invitation, presentations and catering made use of the bright colours of the machine. The Kunsthalle’s stunning milieu, high-ceiling rooms and exhibition provided the perfect setting for the new machine’s presentation. A long breakfast table was set up in the large hall of the Kunsthalle, where 25 influencers and journalists gathered to enjoy a colourful breakfast, a delicious coffee and to hear about the new coffee machine. The event also saw the launch of Nespresso’s Festive coffees, which were enjoyed over dessert. Participants had the opportunity to visit the exhibition at the Kunsthalle while sipping a cup of coffee.
The event was warmly received by the participants. Drum was responsible for the event planning, project management, production of materials and all practical arrangements together with the catering partner. Drum’s partner for the execution was Say it with a cake. After the event, the new device was sampled to selected influencers, increasing the visibility of the device even after the event. In addition to this, one commercial partnership was carried out.
